Sims 2 eps in order

I have all the expansions through celebration stuff - and the very last one Mansion and Gardens - Now Im trying to install the four inbetween but it is telling me it checks for updates then it terminates installing. So what is going wrong with this - what do I need to uninstall to install the next one over which is Fashion stuff - IVe researched till im tired of researching this answer and IVe seen some answers saying NO you do not have to install in order then I see this one and others that say you do have to install in order.

Im confused and afraid to make any move on it because I dont want to completely mess up my game - I super duper need help with this. February You may need to re-run the installer but maybe with compatibility mode. And you may want to patch your expansions and stuff before you install to make sure it shows. April - last edited April What you need to do is install Sims 2 then manually patch Sims 2 base game from the Mod the Sims patches page. It will check each time to see if you are patched but it will immediately say you are up to date and then successfully complete. Install each expansion in order and the proper patch for each expansion immediately thereafter. Please note, there is only one stuff pack Family Fun Stuff that requires a patch. View in thread. July - last edited July I have had that problem as well- what helped me is called The Graphic Rules Maker just follow the instructions. January I've installed two EP's and Sp's out of order in the past and they seemed to have still worked.
