Chick-fil-a management development program
Transformational personal development through experiential learning and coaching. All within thirty months that will change the trajectory of your career and your life. The Jumpstart Experience is both a job opportunity and personal development program. Over a two and half year time frame, participants will be trained and work as Directors in varying roles in a Chick-fil-A restaurant in the Portland, Oregon market. The work experience offers hands-on experience and leadership training while providing some personal development to provide insight and growth in leveraging unique strengths and becoming a great candidate for a career within the wider world of Chick-fil-A.
Participants will learn varying job skills of management and leadership through serving as Directors in the restaurant and will also grow personally through 1-on-1 coaching and leadership development. As the experience begins to wrap up, we will work together to intentionally launch you into your next opportunity.
Local businesses generously provided dresses and tuxedos, gift bags, and a night of dancing that included special appearances by the Chick-fil-A cows and the Braves mascot, Blooper.
When Chick-fil-A Leader Academy students learned that more than fellow students are facing homelessness, they decided to build a home for one of them. With support from countless local tradespeople, students converted an RV into a tiny home, the first of what they hope will be a tiny home village that provides housing for homeless people in the community.
Tacoma High School. The impact beyond these walls has been incredible. Children and teens living in a local group home were treated to a night of fun and games by Chick-fil-A Leader Academy students. Students also brought gifts and donated supplies to the group home. Students worked with the Industrial Tech class to design and build outdoor dog pergolas to provide shade and shelter for these dogs.

After being prepared to lead a Chick-fil-A restaurant, you will enter a two-year training process to develop the key competencies needed to own a Chick-fil-A Franchise, work at the Chick-fil-A Support Center in Atlanta or obtain an opportunity in another organization.
LDP participants serve as leaders in roles that support the business needs of Chick-fil-A, including ensuring restaurant excellence at grand openings and in Chick-fil-A operated restaurants, primarily through the capacity as a Grand Opening Supervisor and Interim Manager.
