You will now notice that under the bumper cover there is a shs bar square hollow section and a Styrofoam piece in front of the shs bar. Remove this foam piece and move it to the bumper cover.

Using a Nikko marker mark on the hook where it will sit using the Styrofoam piece inside as a guide marking both on the foam piece and the hook. Now bring the foam piece back to the shs bar and mount it again seeing where your reference is for your cut to be made. Marking on the top of the shs bar mark out a rectangle at least the size of a mobile phone and about 4 inches across and along the whole size of the shs side which will be cut into.

Remove the foam piece. Drill out the mark on the front of the bumper so you can reach inside and tighten the nuts once the bolts are inserted. Place a washer over each of the drilled out holes on the bottom of the bumper and press them into place with the tow hook. Insert the bolts through the hook and washers into the holes in the bumper. Slip the nuts over the ends of the bolts through the access hole in the front of the bumper and tighten them with a wrench.

Replace the bumper cover and cover top and all of the bolts holding it in place. Put the wheel well covers back inside the wells. Based in West Windsor, N. Many tow hooks will allow for placement at different depths along the bumper, so experiment with different positions.
