I have a computer that started doing this a week ago. So far I have not been able to fix it. Updated Flash and Java. Tried running IE with no add-ons, etc. Outlook seems to hang and crash now as well. The hanging is sporadic however and I cannot easily recreate. It happens when i walk away after it appears fixed :. I would uninstall it and download it again, with updates hopefully that will resolve some of the problems.

I personally have been against uninstalling IE as there are so many services and updates linked to it. It even shows you what will be removed if you uninstall IE.
